When assessing or choosing a static illuminated display system, please consider…

1. Will the display provide maximum visual acuity in the given environment
(eg if there is a high prevalence of ambient light) and have you made an on-site comparison of display systems to assess their relative visual efficacy?

2. Is the system fully integrated to maximise its efficiency by ensuring each technical component contributes to the maximum performance of all other components?

3. How does the energy consumption of the system compare to other display systems? Consider how any extra energy consumption will affect lifetime running cost and the environment.

4. Will the lamp provide long-life, low-maintenance performance, and if not, what will be the resultant replacement/maintenance costs over the life of the display?

5. Could the system be of a lower profile to make installation easier and free up more floor space?
